Domain · Management reporting
What it covers
Producing the numbers the business uses to make decisions — monthly financials, runway and burn, cohort economics — and getting them in front of the people who need them in time to act on them.
Operations
Monthly management reporting operation
Month-end close → P&L, balance sheet, cash flow generated → commentary added → distributed.
Runway and burn tracking operation
Continuous tracking of cash position and spend rate → runway forecast maintained → material changes flagged to founder and Strategy Loop.
Revenue recognition and cohort economics operation
Monthly revenue recognised correctly → cohort views produced for renter-loop.diagnostics.cohort-revenue-analysis and other consumers.
Notes
Management reporting is the bridge between the Financial Loop and the Strategy Loop. The numbers here shape what gets prioritised next. Timeliness matters as much as accuracy — a perfectly correct P&L that arrives after the decision has been made is not useful.
